In Spain used to be about 10.000 castles of which now remained less then half. Architecture of many Spanish castles was influenced by Islamic and Germanic designs. The castle are distributed all around the country including provinces of Andalusia, Aragon, Asturias, Cantabria, Castile-la-Mancha, Castile and Leon, Catalonia, Galicia, Extremadura, autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla and the Balearic and Canary islands.

This big house a.k.a Castle of Rubi is very famous because Jordi and Marta live here. Except for that, there is nothing to explore in Rubi, a small municipality north of Barcelona. Once a seat of Torrelles family, from 1983 the site houses "Ecomuseu Urbà", a museum with archeological and etnological expositions.
