Karlstejn castle, Czech Republic
Situated a short drive from Prague, the Karlstejn castle is a popular day trip destination from the Czech capital. Karlstejn is a gothic castle founded in 1348 by Czech king and Roman emperor, Charles IV as a safekeeping place for royal treasures.
